Default Green Theme

Default Green Themed in Minecraft!

Product page Downloads Documentation Roadmap

Install Default Green Theme #

Download the ZIP and drop it into your resourcepacks folder, then enable it in-game under Options → Resource Packs.

  1. Download the Green DPT build for your Minecraft version — the family covers 1.8.9 and 1.20.3 through 26.2, each range shipping its own pack_format.
  2. Copy the ZIP into your resourcepacks/ folder — %appdata%\.minecraft\resourcepacks on Windows, ~/Library/Application Support/minecraft/resourcepacks on macOS, ~/.minecraft/resourcepacks on Linux.
  3. Launch Minecraft, open Options > Resource Packs.
  4. Enable "Default Green Theme" and move it near the top of the list — packs override lower ones — then relaunch to see the theme.
  5. Expect a full re-theme: HUD (hotbar, hearts, hunger, armor, XP bar, crosshair), all containers, widgets, title screen and panorama.
  6. Pair it with other packs using Pack Merger if you combine looks — stacking resource packs directly causes conflicts.

Tips for Default Green Theme #

  • Keep Default Green Theme on the version range shown on its product page.
  • Resource packs override lower ones in the list — put Default Green Theme near the top, and combine packs with Pack Merger instead of stacking them.
  • Bedrock Edition, mobile, and console can't run Java Edition mods or packs — for a port or custom variant, request a commission.

Default Green Theme FAQ #

What is DGN?
Default Green Theme — a premium green themed resource pack in the Hero Studios DPT family.
Which versions?
Java Edition only — 1.8.9, and 1.20.3 through 26.2. Pick the build for your version range; each ships its own pack_format.
Is there Bedrock support?
No — DPT packs are Java Edition only. Need a Bedrock or custom variant? Message us for a special request.
Does it change gameplay?
No — purely visual.
Does it work with shaders?
Yes — it is a standard GUI pack compatible with OptiFine/Iris shaders.
Can I use it in a modpack?
Yes — with credit. License: provided as-is, modpack use with credit.
What pack formats?
1.21.11 → format 75; 1.21.9–10 → 69; 1.21–1.21.8 → 34–64; 1.8.9 → format 1.
Can I combine DPT packs?
Yes, using Pack Merger to combine packs and resolve conflicts — stacking resource packs directly causes conflicts.
How do I install it?
Drop the ZIP into your resourcepacks folder, launch the game, open Options → Resource Packs, enable the pack and move it near the top of the list. On macOS the folder is ~/Library/Application Support/minecraft/resourcepacks; on Linux, ~/.minecraft/resourcepacks.
What exactly gets re-themed?
The whole GUI: HUD (hotbar with neon borders, hearts full/half/empty, hunger, armor bar, gradient XP bar, crosshair), every container screen (inventory, crafting, furnace, chest, enchanting, brewing, anvil, beacon, hopper, shulker, barrel, dispenser/dropper, stonecutter, grindstone, loom, smithing), widgets (buttons, checkboxes, sliders) and the title screen with logo and panoramic background.
Can I customise the theme?
Each colour is its own pack — pick your colour from the DPT family, or combine packs with Pack Merger. For a custom colour or variant, request a commission through the support portal.
Does it work on servers?
It is a client-side resource pack — it changes what you see only. Install it like any other pack and you are done.
