Install Default Red Theme #
Download the ZIP and drop it into your resourcepacks folder, then enable it in-game under Options → Resource Packs.
- Download the Red DPT build for your Minecraft version.
- Copy the ZIP into your resourcepacks/ folder.
- Launch Minecraft, open Options > Resource Packs.
- Enable "Default Red Theme" and relaunch to see the theme.
- Pair it with other packs using Pack Merger if you combine looks.

Apply the pack
Drop the ZIP into **resourcepacks**, enable it at the top of the list, and the whole GUI re-themes to the pack's colour.
Combine packs
To run multiple colours at once use **Pack Merger** — stacking resource packs directly causes conflicts.
Versions
Java Edition only: 1.8.9 and 1.20.3–26.2. Bedrock isn't supported — request a custom variant if you need one.

MultiMC / Prism users: these folders live inside Instances/<instance>/.minecraft/.
Configure #
Settings live in the config folder (JSON5 files you can edit by hand) and, where available, in the in-game settings screen the mod adds. The exact keys and keybinds are listed in the documentation and the FAQ below.
Tips for Default Red Theme #
- Keep Default Red Theme on the version range shown on its product page.
- Resource packs override lower ones in the list — put Default Red Theme near the top, and combine packs with Pack Merger instead of stacking them.
- Bedrock Edition, mobile, and console can't run Java Edition mods or packs — for a port or custom variant, request a commission.
