Better Dynamic Crosshair Docs

~1 min read v1.1.0 Fabric

Overview #

Better Dynamic Crosshair is a client-side crosshair replacement that adapts to what you target — color-coding hostile mobs, players, containers, ores and more, with tooltips for entity stats and block break times.

A static crosshair gives you nothing. Better Dynamic Crosshair re-colors and styles the crosshair based on what you're targeting — hostile or passive mobs, players, bosses, containers, redstone, crops and ores — and attaches tooltips showing entity HP, armor and distance or the correct tool and estimated break time.

Quick start #

  1. Install Fabric Loader and Fabric API for 1.21.11.
  2. Place the Better Dynamic Crosshair JAR into your mods folder.
  3. Launch the game and aim at anything — the crosshair does the rest.
  4. Combat and correct-tool glows appear automatically.
