Alpha Mods & Challenges v1.0

Bucket of Everything

Capture nearly any entity — even the player — in a bucket, fully intact.

Alpha · Early alpha. Capture/release works across every living entity with full NBT preservation for 1.21–1.21.11 and 26.x. Fabric API is not required.

Why it exists

Purpose

Bottling mobs is a staple of technical Minecraft — but it only works for a handful of mobs. Bucket of Everything extends that to nearly every entity and object, preserving all important data so you can store, transport, and release anything.

Who it's for

Redstone engineers, map makers, farmers, and creators who want to move entities around like items.

Key capabilities

Capture anything

Nearly every entity or object can be bucketed, including players.

Data preserved

All important data is retained through capture and release.

Player support

Players can be captured (with a brief spectator state) and released.

FAQ

Questions, answered

Can I bucket a player?
No — players are never captured; every other living entity is fair game.
Is it safe for survival worlds?
It is an alpha; back up worlds before extensive use.
Which entities can I capture?
Nearly every living entity — mobs, animals, bosses, villagers — through one generic capture/release path with no whitelist.
What data is preserved?
Full NBT is preserved across the capture→release cycle, plus a dynamic display name and per-entity bucket textures.
Can I blacklist things?
Yes — a JSON config supports an entity blacklist, allowBossCapture and allowVillagerCapture.
Does it need Fabric API?
No — it uses vanilla APIs only, with no reflection or runtime libraries.
Which versions are supported?
1.21 through 1.21.11 plus 26.x builds.
